“Code Red: Period” is a new initiative by the Junior League of Williamsport to raise funds that will provide supplies for middle and high school age girls in Central PA who face “period poverty,” when the cost of sanitary items is more than they or their families can afford, not to mention the anxiety teens can experience if they are unprepared.
