Nearly 600 fish have been rescued from pools near the Adam T. Bower Memorial Dam outside Sunbury. The Middle Susquehanna Riverkeeper Association and Susquehanna University collected 580 fish representing 22 species after the dam was lowered for the season. They’re considering whether a slower drawdown could prevent future fish deaths.
